SDRUZHENIE "ASOCIACIA DYSLEXIA - BULGARIA"

SDRUZHENIE ASOCIACIA DYSLEXIA - BULGARIA (DABG) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation, which main aims are: to increase awareness about dyslexia and other learning difficulties, to train teachers how to recognise the symptoms of dyslexia and all comorbid conditions, to educate and support parents of children with SLD, to provide help to students for overcoming their difficulties and better realisation after school, etc. Specialists in the Association provide trainings, seminars, workshops, presentations for teachers, specialists and parents; assessment and individual consultations for children, young people, and adults from all over the country. Since its formation in 2005, DABG has taken part in many projects related to dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, early identification and early intervention; supporting students to develop good study skills, using assistive technologies in education, bilingualism, foreign language learning/teaching, etc. DABG works in collaboration with local educational authorities, schools, universities, NGOs, media.

KLAIPEDA UNIVERSITY - LITHUANIA

Established on 1 January 1991, Klaipėda University is a multidisciplinary educational institution, the scientific and cultural centre of the region of Western Lithuania with the population of around 470,000. The University has three faculties (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Marine Technologies and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences), two institutes (Marine Research Institute and Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology). Latvijas Speciālo pedagogu asociācija (LSpecPA) - LATVIA

The LSpecPA association was established in September 2017, it is national organisation with regional branches in all Latvian regions. Members of the Association are special pedagogues, teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, educators, experts from the Latvian ministry of Education (On 01.03.2018 - 228 members). THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD – Dr.paed., assoc. prof. MARITE ROZENFELDE The aim of the Latvian Association of Special Education Teachers is to re resent special pedagogues/special education teachers in Latvia, Europe, and in the world. The tasks of the LspecPA are the following: participate in the harmonization of professional legislation, rise and address issues of special education in Latvia and work-related problems of special pedagogues/special education teachers/special teaching assistants; raise visibility of special pedagogues/special education teachers in Latvia; participate in the elaboration, harmonization and implementation of higher education programs and professional qualification improvement programs of continuing education; offer opinions/recommendations of the experts in the special pedagogy; promote the development of the science of special education and collaboration with scientific and professional organizations and NGO in Latvia, Europe, and in the world, study and publish views and recent research findings on the matters of special pedagogy among the members; ensure the opportunities of professional development and professional experience exchange; represent and defend interests of the association members; promote society’s awareness of human development disorders and prevent these disorders; participate in activities of public benefit in such fields as healthcare, science and education, in prevention of development disorders to support people with development disorders, families raising children with development disorders, pedagogues and health care professionals, etc.
